Pennsylvania Bluestone Hand Cut Flagstone Patio with Quartzite Boulder Fountain

This fountain was constructed from a natural quartzite boulder from Montana with two holes custom drilled. Black Mexican Beach pebbles surround the boulder to create a pondless water feature that is the focal point of this courtyard patio made of Pennsylvania Bluestone. The flagstone joints were left just wide enough to incorporate a groundcover known as Green Carpet or Rupturewort. In the background is a custom built sunken bocce ball court complete with subsurface drains and oystershell surface.
