This water feature located on Point Fosdick in Gig Harbor uses a bronze statue of a boy fishing as a focal point and old weathered slabs of locally quarried Wilkeson sandstone. This water feature design was inspired by old abandoned limestone quarries in the mid-west that would be left to fill in as natural ponds; whether they actually had fish is questionable, but they made great swimming holes.
